Our CTO, Karsten Richter, returned from the PEMD in London with a clear impression. While there is often hesitation in continental Europe, the UK is resolutely pushing ahead with political will, targeted investments, and a clear focus on building a strong value chain for electric drives, particularly in the automotive sector. What we are taking away specifically: 👉 New points of contact within a dynamic innovation ecosystem 👉 Strong momentum driven by close collaboration with leading universities such as Nottingham and Newcastle 👉 Concrete approaches for industrialization projects in the UK Additionally, we had many productive discussions with customers and gained interesting insights from new applications and potential industrial customers from the mainland. Of particular interest were the initial insights into new axial flux motor manufacturers. Our conclusion: The UK is clearly positioning itself and demonstrating a willingness to invest. This is exactly where we want to start building our network.
