Last week, I was wandering through Nexus Select Mall Ahmedabad, just roaming, letting my mind drift.  And then I saw it a pink parking spot for women. I stopped. Not because it was flashy or fancy, but because it made me feel something. As a woman, I’ve walked endless parking lots, carrying bags, worrying about safety, thinking: why isn’t anyone thinking about this? And here it was someone had thought about me, about women, about comfort, about ease. A simple corner, a soft pastel, a sign: “Reserved for women.” That’s it. But it hit me. I felt seen, cared for, understood just by a thought put into a space. That’s the power of small gestures. A little spark of imagination, a little human empathy, and suddenly the world feels kinder, safer, more alive. As a designer, I dream of creating spaces like this where even the tiniest detail can make someone feel noticed, safe, and valued. Sometimes, design isn’t about luxury or aesthetics. Sometimes, it’s about heart. #EmpathyInDesign #ThoughtfulSpaces #InclusiveDesign #HumanCenteredDesign
