“You can’t lose if you don’t quit.” Qualifying didn’t go to plan this weekend. I suffered a huge highside and was taken to the medical centre before heading to the hospital for X-rays to check for fractures🩻🤕 Fortunately, the damage was limited to a badly bruised foot and a small bone splinter. After returning to the circuit and another visit to the medical centre, I was ‘cleared’ to race. Less than three hours after the crash, I was back on the grid. I took the lead before turn 2 and, after a race under chaotic circumstances, crossed the line in P4. Not the result we came for, but an important one to minimise the damage🙌🏼 Now it’s time to give the foot the recovery it needs and come back stronger🚀💪🏼 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/e7U8d7wd 📸 Mette Laan #yamahar1 #worldsbk #motorsport #yamaharacing #SW60
