I couldn’t turn down an invitation to talk about all things whimsy and whimsical with Anna Burnside now could I. I think we could have written a whole book on our chat, which led us down some fabulously magical paths. Thanks so much Anna for showcasing The Toadstool Trails at The Maxwell Centre and Dundee Botanic Garden, and The Children’s Theatre Suite project (ward 30) in Ninewells Hospital and for taking the time to understand my work. I really do believe that illustration, sprinkled with whimsy, can bring a smile to us all. There really is “surprise and magic and joy in unexpected corners.” 💚🍄🌿☀️🐸 Other lovers of whimsy featured in this The Sunday Post article are Forever Betty and Pure Barkin Art in Healthcare, Nature Connection, Playful, Joy #whimsicallush #illustration #dundee #whimsylove
