We all know about Swami Vivekananda Ji's historic address that introduced India's spiritual wisdom to the world in Chicago. But did you know that another extraordinary Indian scholar and spiritual visionary carried the message of peace, universal brotherhood, and #value-based education to the global stage? Sant Teja Singh Ji was a Gold Medalist from Khalsa College, a student at the University of Cambridge, the first Sikh graduate from Harvard University, and a man who chose service (Sewa) over the prestige of the Civil Services. He represented India's spiritual heritage at international religious conferences, including the World Conference of Religion for Peace in Japan, where he spoke on "The Way to Establish World Peace." Yet, his greatest contribution was not the speeches he delivered—it was the vision he left behind. Inspired by the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sant Teja Singh Ji envisioned an education system where academic excellence and moral values go hand in hand. Today, that vision lives through nearly 130 Akal Academy Group of Schools, transforming thousands of lives across rural India through value-based education. Some leaders leave behind institutions that continue to shape generations. #TransformingLives #SantTejaSinghJi #BaruSahib #TheKalgidharSociety #EducateToSave #AkalAcademy #ValueBasedEducation #GuruNanak #Leadership
