🇮🇳 When India builds tech, the rest of the world takes note. With one of the largest developer ecosystems on the planet and massive interest to deploy AI, India is the ultimate tech testing ground. But our GM for India and South Asia, Marshal Correia, raised a critical question in ETCIO: in the race to launch AI this quarter, are we accidentally giving up control of the foundation? Based on SUSE's latest Navigating Digital Resiliency Report, 98% of enterprises globally agree digital sovereignty matters, but only 52% are acting. India is actually leading the charge to close this gap, because Indian IT leaders know that data localization and true independence represents a competitive advantage. So, AI isn't going to wait for governance to catch up. Deferring sovereignty decisions today means accepting vendor lock-in by default tomorrow.
