I never planned to write this but it tugs at my heartstrings too much. When I was being diagnosed with ADHD (around about that time, was depressed, had dropped out of Uni) my boyfriend and I went to the Roman baths at Bath. they gave me an audio guided tour which I can’t stand (a pre recorded one) and it was the final straw. I couldn’t bear the fact that I couldn’t listen to it i told my boyfriend I wasn’t good at anything except for a few bad habits that had. I was only good at those, I told him fast forward ten years and I want to say to my younger self you are good at so many things dancing Singing programming public speaking writing blogging self advocacy research so many more things I could list. So to anyone out there who is struggling or waiting for a diagnosis one day you’ll see how talented you are one day you’ll see how brilliant you are and when you find it. When you find your light. Shine it. Don’t hold back. Shine it everywhere thank you #adhd #autism #audhd #neurodiversity #selflove #talents alt text: a photo of Susanna in front of a lake that is in front of Buckingham palace #queen
