I first picked this up in 2013 during my time at Office Depot Viking Europe, but its message feels incredibly relevant, perhaps even more so with all the current noise surrounding AI and digital tools. Thomas J. Watson, Sr. once said: "If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work." In a world of automated tools, the commitment to personal excellence remains the ultimate differentiator. If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. If not, it’s a quick read that only takes a couple of hours. I highly recommend grabbing a printed copy; it’s one you’ll want to refer back to often!
