At Sunweb Group, we truly believe everyone deserves a pause from everyday life — a moment to recharge, improve wellbeing, and create lifelong memories. That’s why we’re proud to deepen our partnership with St. Het Buitenhof — an organisation that makes travel possible for people with intellectual disabilities. For many years, we’ve supported Buitenhof Reizen by organising their tours across our destinations. This year, we’ve taken our collaboration one step further. We introduced a new volunteering opportunity for Sunweb Group employees. Our employees will have the chance to accompany a Buitenhof trip as part of a fully supported study travel experience. This means no time off required and all travel costs covered — making it easier for colleagues to contribute to something truly meaningful. Five colleagues have already completed their training and are now guiding trips to Mallorca, Ibiza and Egypt, each supporting groups of 12 travelers. During the training, they gained valuable insights into the work of Buitenhof Reizen, learned how to guide groups, handle different situations, and most importantly: how to make every traveler feel safe, included, and cared for. 💬“I believe it’s important that everyone who wants to travel has the opportunity to do so.
