💡 Cognitive offloading: What do we delegate to AI - and what do we prefer to keep for ourselves? This question sparked intense discussion last week at the EqualVoice United Community Event at Sunrise. Because the question is no longer whether we use AI, but where we draw the line with what we want to control ourselves as individuals. Based on the UZH study (UZH Foundation – Die Stiftung der Universität Zürich), supported by Sunrise, Prof. Dr Sandra Cortesi showed that most people approach AI with a mix of curiosity and scepticism. And perhaps this very ambivalence is valuable. Because it forces us to make conscious choices: ▪️ What do we outsource - and what do we do ourselves? ▪️ Where do we trust - and where do we question? ▪️ When do we follow the majority - and when do we seek new perspectives? In the end, competence does not lie in using AI as such, but in the quality of these decisions. Many thanks to all participants for the engaging discussion. The many questions truly enriched the conversation, and inspired us as organisers. 😊 More information about the UZH study: aidentities.ch Nike Moehle; Annabella Dr. Bassler; Alda Daka; Andreas Merz; Sandra Cortesi; Julia Herrmann
