Its the real thing! Well yes it is but this new can of Coke was in a check-in luggage obviously not in a pressurised hold BUT the new material ( lighter/thinner) for the can made it fail in a very dangerous way as shown. The lip around where the open tab is located is supposed to be the pressure point ( the weakest point) to let the can fail there. Well it did but in the process the can failed in a very dangerous way. The can was sharp ( very sharp). Pressurised cans of drink incidentally very rarely fail and I regualrly take them in check-in baggage even soda waters ( made by Coke under license but with the orignal designed can). I really do not see the point of Coke changing the can unless it is reducing the quantity of liquid in the can but nonetheless it might be the real thing but it certainly is not a good can.
