Good to see our friends and partners Goodwin Living, a faith-based nonprofit operating senior living communities among other services, highlighted in this important story. #Seniorcitizens are advocating to protect Temporary Protected Status for Haitians a day before the #SCOTUS hears arguments on whether the Trump's administration improperly canceled TPS. TPS for Haitians was set to expire Feb. 3 until a federal judge paused it. The Trump administration filed an appeal of that pause, leaving the status of thousands of Haitians in that legal limbo as an appeals court considers the case. Goodwin Living CEO, Rob Liebreich, has said the instability of the status of more than 350,000 Haitians in the U.S., many who work in healthcare and senior living, will trigger “dramatic careflation”, meaning a significant rise in the cost of care in senior living and healthcare. https://lnkd.in/ehXTTxM6
