Today, we’re continuing our series on how thoughtful analytics can illuminate the world around us, one industry at a time. This week, we’re exploring the healthcare landscape of our home state Massachusetts, beginning with one of the leading hospitals in the country Mass General Brigham. In this storyboard, we look at the organization not just as a hospital system, but as a major contributor to the state’s workforce, a provider serving millions of patients each year, and a network managing thousands of beds across its facilities. These are the kinds of stories that often go unspoken and not celebrated enough— the quiet, essential impact that healthcare providers have on both our economy and our collective well‑being. By bringing together business data, workforce insights, patient volumes, and operational capacity, we’re highlighting the value of the people and institutions who care for our communities every day. The goal isn’t to judge or compare. It’s to show how BI and AI — when guided by human intention — can bring forward stories that deserve to be seen, understood, and appreciated. This dashboard is one example of what we call Sunday AI Storyboards: dynamic, cross‑channel views that help leaders see connections, understand conditions, and make decisions with clarity and confidence. In future posts we plan to show how users can navigate from this dashboard to other perspectives related to an organization — Stocks, Consumers, Pick Up, Inventory Management, Workflow, Locations — each offering a different lens on the same system. Later this week we’ll continue the series with another major healthcare provider in Massachusetts. One state, many stories — and BI + AI working together to celebrate them.
