Pure electrification of industrial heat carries a real risk: when electricity prices rise, so do your operating costs. The hybrid approach changes that calculus. Solar thermal covers the base load at a fixed cost, independent of electricity markets. Power-to-Heat captures cheap grid electricity when prices drop. Thermal storage holds the energy until the process needs it. The result is a system structurally exposed to falling electricity prices, while protected against rising ones. That asymmetry is what makes it investable, not just sustainable. We explain the full logic in our latest article, including which industrial profiles benefit most (continuous heat demand, 120–400°C, gas-intensive processes like dairy, drying, or distillation).
