Office chair is the most used office furniture. It is crucial to confirm the stability, ergonomics and comfort, structural integrity, strength, performance, durability and safety of your office chairs at source. Sunchine Inspection has a great experience in office chairs’ inspection, the right methods and processes and highly qualified well trained inspectors to help you control our office chairs at the factory, verifying their compliance with your specifications and confirming whether our actual production meets the regulatory standards of the destination market. Office chair inspection integrates a comprehensive visual inspection including appearance and structural checks, label and marking assessment, packing and packaging inspection, size and weight measurement, and must be completed by a series of functional and durability checks to ensure the products meet buyer’s specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards Our office chair visual inspection includes: 1. Appearance, Workmanship, Upholstery and Surface Finish The chair shall present a clean, uniform, market-acceptable appearance and be consistent with the approved sample. Upholstery must be free from stains, scratches, cuts, tears, wrinkles, and exposed foam. Stitching must be straight, even, and secure. Plastic parts shall be smooth with no sharp edges, burrs, cracks, or discoloration. Metal and coated parts shall show no rust, peeling, blistering, or surface defects. Color must be even and consistent with no mismatched components. 2. Structural Appearance The frame, base, and load-bearing parts must show no visible damage, cracks, deformation or misalignment. No sharp edges or exposed internal components are permitted either. 3. Assembly Quality (Visual) All components must be correctly assembled with no loose, missing, or incorrect screws or fasteners. Screws must be properly driven to ensure proper seal and holding strength, and major components shall be correctly aligned with no abnormal gaps or uneven fitting. 4. General Construction Condition The chair must appear well assembled, structurally sound and consistent with the approved sample, with no visible signs of instability or poor construction. 5. Labels, Markings, and Barcodes Product identification, safety labels, country of origin, and traceability information shall be present and legible. Barcodes must be correctly placed and readable under normal scanning conditions. 6. Packing and Packaging must follow buyer instructions. Inner protection materials (e.g. foam) must be present where required, correctly placed and sufficient to prevent transport damage. Cartons shall be clean, intact, and properly sealed. Visual inspection is necessary but not sufficient to confirm the quality, correct assembly, safe operation and reliability of office chairs. So it is crucial that visual inspection be supplemented by various tests implemented to confirm product reliability and safety. The testing will be discussed later.
