Today marks a milestone moment for SunCable. We are proud to have signed an Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) with the Powell Creek Native Title Holders, a significant step forward in developing one of the largest renewable energy projects in the region. This agreement represents years of dialogue, collaboration and trust-building. It formalises our shared commitment to ensure Traditional Owners are at the centre of this project and that its benefits are lasting and meaningful. Through this ILUA, SunCable will support employment, training and business opportunities, protect cultural heritage, and create long-term social and economic value for the Elliott community and the wider Barkly region. We are grateful for the leadership and partnership of the Powell Creek Native Title Holders, the Northern Land Council, the Northern Territory Government and the many others involved in achieving this historic milestone. Together, we are building the foundations for a renewable energy future that respects Country and creates opportunity for generations to come.
