This week, our Director of Group Corporate Affairs, Jett Street, took the stage at the NT Major Projects Conference to share an update on SunCable’s AAPowerLink project. The presentation highlighted that the NT brings together all the ingredients needed for a project of this scale. It has a world-class solar resource, strong fibre connectivity, sustainable water options, land already zoned for advanced development, essential infrastructure, major trade and export pathways, opportunities for industrial-scale carbon projects, and a stable geopolitical environment. These conditions will underpin global investment in energy intensive and future facing industry such as data centres, industrial decarbonisation, green fuels and critical minerals processing. The AAPowerLink continues to make strong progress, with last week’s signing of the Indigenous Land Use Agreement over Powell Creek unlocking the next phase of development for both the project - and the Northern Territory’s energy future. #AAPowerLink #RenewableEnergy #NorthernTerritory
