Today, upon the kind invitation of our esteemed professor, Prof. Dr. Süphan Nasır, I had the privilege of attending and evaluating the presentations delivered within the scope of the Strategic Marketing Management course in the Boğaziçi University ETM Master’s Program. The presentations, delivered by distinguished participants from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, addressed the international expansion strategy of an e-commerce enterprise into a hypothetical market, with a specific focus on optimizing the customer experience in payment systems. The session once again underscored how vital it is to understand local dynamics and expectations from a customer centric perspective. It reaffirmed that offering a variety of payment alternatives is not merely a necessity, but a core element of experience design and a key pillar of sustainable market expansion. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Süphan Nasır for her kind invitation, and to the ETM students for their valuable work and insightful ideas.
