2016-2026 ... How Time flies …..Ten years ago, I walked onto a site that would change the trajectory of my career—and honestly, my perspective on what’s possible. I started as the "first lady on-site," a title that carried both the weight of expectation and the thrill of breaking new ground. Today, looking back across a decade of grit, engineering, and monumental projects worth $500 MUSD.  Directed administration and logistics support for outage setups, ensuring smooth processes and completion of in the outskirts of metro cities. I find myself in a role I’ve come to own: the only lady on-site. Being on-site is a different world. It’s not just about managing compliance or operations; it’s about navigating the pulse of a massive, complex environment where every decision impacts the bottom line and safety of the team. Over the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of leading end-to-end site management—from orchestrating complex workforce logistics to managing sensitive customer interactions that define our reputation. Reflecting on my early days, I remember the challenge of facilitating communication between global teams from Malaysia, Germany, Indonesia, and beyond. Those experiences taught me that site administration is more than paperwork; it is the art of fostering a seamless connection between diverse stakeholders to get the job done. Ten years later, the boots on the ground are the same, but the mission has evolved. Being the "only one" in the room hasn’t just been a challenge; it’s been the greatest platform to prove that leadership isn't about fitting, it’s about setting the standard. To everyone currently carve out their own path in industries where they feel like the exception: keep showing up. Your presence is the bridge for everyone coming after you. #WomenInEngineering #EnergySector #SiteManagement #10YearJourney #SiemensEnergy #Leadership #BreakingBarriers #WomenEmpowernment
