The algorithm dared me to look into EV rickshaw battery hacks. Challenge accepted. 🕹️⚡ I spent the last 24 hours decompiling Android APKs, mapping out BLE GATT characteristics, and rebuilding a vendor's custom binary frame protocol to create my own hardware controller. Powered by a dusty ESP32 and a salvaged PSP joystick, this build cuts straight through to the hardware layer—interfacing directly with the battery's BMS to manipulate settings and view telemetry with absolutely zero external dependencies. Dive into the full article to see the hardware setup, the reverse-engineering process, and why I’m intentionally keeping this project closed-source. #Hardware #IoT #ESP32 #BLE #ReverseEngineering #OpenSource
