How do we respond when academic critiques target the core continuity of Islamic history? In my latest article published on MAJLIS ANSAR SULTAN UL QALAM, or THE MUSLIM WRITERS GUILD OF NIGERIA, I offer a scholarly rebuttal to a recent paper by researcher Joshua R. Sijuwade in the journal "Religions", which argues that modern Islam has broken continuity with the Prophet’s (sa) original community. Drawing from the profound insights of Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad’s (ra) Tafsir Kabir, I break down the linguistic hierarchy of the terms "Muslim" and "Mumin," and address the true historical context of Surah al-Baqarah, verse 63.
