Building Brands, Destinations & Purpose-Driven Experiences | Responsible Tourism Strategist | Product Marketing & Strategic Partnerships

I've realised something about travel marketers... "Myself being Exhibit A". We're brilliant at selling destinations. Not always so brilliant at selling why someone should care. Because no one comes back talking about the airport transfer. They talk about the stranger who became a friend, the chai at a roadside stall that somehow tasted better than any café, or the guide who made a forest feel like home. That's the story. Not the itinerary. So here's a question I've been thinking about— Are we marketing places, or are we marketing the person someone becomes after they've been there? I think it should be the second! Which brings me to a little experiment... Every Tuesday, I'll be sharing one thought from the world of travel, branding & marketing. No grand theories, I am in no way an expert, just observations from someone who's endlessly fascinated by how people choose, connect & travel. Let's see where this journey takes us. 🤍 #TravelMarketing #BrandStrategy #ResponsibleTourism #Storytelling #TravelIndustry
