💧 From Doha this week, reaffirming SUEZ's commitment to Qatar! SUEZ is marking a significant return to Qatar with a major contract awarded by Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ – Qatar to manage wastewater infrastructure where 100% of treated water is reused for agriculture irrigation and groundwater recharge. Together with MACE Qatar, SUEZ operates the West Catchment Zone — covering the western part of Doha and 206 surrounding districts, serving close to one million residents across more than 3,000 km of pipelines, 33 pumping stations and 5 wastewater treatment plants. This contract includes the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of an extensive wastewater network and features smart solutions such as SUEZ's Aquadvanced technology, improving energy performance and minimising the use of chemicals. During his recent visit to the country, Pierre Pauliac reaffirmed the Group's commitment to supporting the country's ambitions with resilient, innovative water solutions. This is more than just a contract: it is also a reaffirmation of SUEZ's long-standing presence in Qatar and our dedication to a sustainable water future. 🤝
