Today on World Farmers Day, we recognise the people at the very start of our value chain, our farmers. 🧑🏻‍🌾 🚜 The journey of our sugar begins in the field, where growing sugar beet involves a great deal of hard work – work our beet growers do day in, day out.  At Südzucker, our partnership with farmers goes far beyond sourcing raw materials. The cooperation spans the entire journey, from sowing and growth to the harvest of the last sugar beets in the field. Together, we work towards more resilient, climate-friendly and future-proof agricultural systems. From improving soil health to reducing emissions and optimizing resource efficiency, for us, sustainable farming is a shared journey. We are grateful for the dedication and expertise of our farmers, whose daily work is often carried out under challenging and changing conditions.
