🌱Team Up for Sustaining Tomorrow – Puratos, BENEO and Südzucker come together and meet farmers of their joint Climate Farming Project 🌱   This joint regenerative agriculture project has been running for a couple of years now with tangible effects monitored over time. At the beginning of this week Raffinerie Tirlemontoise - Tiense Suikerraffinaderij, part of Südzucker Sugar Division, invited our partner Puratos and BENEO on-site in Belgium for an update about the project as well as a visit to our participating farmers.   An agenda full of exchanges on eye-level, practical presentations about the approach and processes implemented, the equipment in use and many interesting insights have made the day a full success.   Direct exchanges with all stakeholders involved is paramount because there is no one-size-fits-all solution, but it always depends on individual farms and environmental factors. This made it all the more important to be able to meet our farmers and directly discuss with them about the motivation and challenges in farming of crops like sugar beet or chicoree, for example, in today’s climate.   This is yet another great example of the vision behind Südzucker’s ‘The Connected Collective’ initiative – bringing together experts from all areas of the value chain, in order to drive sustainability forward with impact.   Thanks to our partner Puratos for joining us with so many different experts and for the in-depth exchange!   And special thanks to Decaigny Sylvie for the great organisation and hosting of the event.   #sustainability #regenerativeagriculture #teamupforsustainingtomorrow #theconnectedcollective
