🌱 Regional production, high-quality products, and a clear commitment to sustainability – these are the values that have united SÜDPACK and cheese processor Herz throughout their many years of collaboration. Our latest customer report shows how our solutions make a meaningful contribution to reducing material use and lowering the carbon footprint.   🧀 The two companies share much more than a long-standing partnership. Their stories both began with a passion for cheese. SÜDPACK started out with maturing pouches for cheese, while dairy producer Herz remains deeply rooted in regional cheesemaking traditions to this day. This shared focus on sustainability ultimately became the basis for our partnership. For Herz, it means making every step of the packaging process as resource-efficient and recyclable as possible.   ♻️ This is precisely where our film expertise made the difference – with CarbonLite® Flow Pack PurePE, our resource- and material-efficient solution for conventional film laminates.   For Herz’s grated cheese packaging, the decisive factor was the combination of technical reliability and genuine sustainability benefits. Excellent machinability, high durability, and a reliable barrier ensure stable, safe processes. At the same time, our CarbonLite film shows what sustainability looks like in practice. Being 5 µm thinner, it noticeably reduces material use and transport weight along the entire value chain. Fewer resources, same performance. For around two years, almost all Herz packaging has been produced using our resource-saving, efficient, and high-quality SPQ printing technology.
