Pleased to share my research publication titled: "Effectiveness of DOTS Policy in Attaining Treatment Success in Pulmonary TB Patients: Lessons from a Tertiary Care Hospital in South India" Published in the International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT), Volume 11, Issue 5, May 2026. This prospective observational study evaluated treatment outcomes among pulmonary tuberculosis patients receiving DOTS therapy at the Department of TB and Chest, Government Medical College and Hospital, Chidambaram. Our findings demonstrated excellent treatment outcomes, with complete clinical, microbiological, and radiological recovery and no cases of treatment failure, relapse, or default. I am grateful to my co-authors, mentors, faculty members, and all the patients whose participation made this work possible.
