I struggle with consistency more than I'd like to admit. The gym. Eating well. Posting here. There are days when the wheels are in motion and you can feel it in the small wins. A clean gut after a week of no sugar. Dumbbells that feel lighter than they did last month. Then one holiday, one sleepless night and the whole rhythm breaks. What I've noticed is that the most successful people don't have perfect routines. They just bounce back faster when life gets in the way. But to get there, you have to learn to be kinder to yourself. Took a month off the gym? That's okay. Can't go a week without dessert? Also okay. Consistency takes effort. Effort requires change. And you can't sustain either if you're constantly punishing yourself for slipping. Because if you do, you don't just lose the habit. You get stuck in a cycle of shame that makes starting again even harder. So here’s me, back to LinkedIn, after my month-long hiatus. But not making any promises. Because even if you don’t see me after, you know I’ll still be kind to myself for it.
