Legal frameworks, organisational practices and cultural contexts differ significantly. Even so, some indicators are measured using the same methodology, allowing for meaningful comparisons. According to the State of the Global Workplace 2026, 50% of workers in the United States and Canada reported experiencing stress during much of the previous day. In Europe, the equivalent figure was 39%. These findings reinforce the importance of understanding the organisational factors that influence team wellbeing.
