Noise is no longer an afterthought in data centre cooling. As noise regulations become increasingly stringent, especially in urban environments, acoustic performance must be considered from the earliest stages of the design process. At the same time, expectations for cooling capacity, efficiency, and reliability remain as high as ever. So how do you ensure a chiller installation meets strict noise requirements without compromising performance? For a recent data centre project, STULZ and Merford developed an integrated noise attenuation solution for a chiller installation. To validate its performance, an extensive acoustic test was conducted under realistic operating conditions in accordance with EN ISO 9614. In the video, Davide Mazzi, Head of the Application Team at STULZ S.p.A., explains the challenges involved and how the solution was validated in practice. ▶️ Watch the video below 📖 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/etT-MkY5 #DataCenters #DataCenterCooling #Chillers #Acoustics #STULZ #YourClimateOurMission
