Last week, our team hosted a summer reception in Parliament to celebrate a fantastic year with Russell Group Students' Unions (RGSU) and to share the RGSU's vision for the future of higher education: https://lnkd.in/eAQVB5ZE. We were joined by colleagues from across UK Students' Unions, the wider higher education community, and parliamentarians, and heard from brilliant speakers including Baroness Garden of Frognal, Alexandra (Lexie) Baynes, Shivani G., Andrew Jack and Hollie Chandler. We also got the chance to present our petition to legislate misogyny as a hate crime to 10 Downing Street, as part of RGSU’s ‘tackling gender-based violence’ project group. There’s much more to be done in this area, and we look forward to working alongside our RGSU colleagues so watch this space!
