CALLING ALL BIRMINGHAM & WEST MIDLANDS STUDENTS: Do You Want to join a Racing Team? We are launching a search for a select group of independent students to form a racing team for the 2026 Student Motorsport Competition. This is your chance to bypass the classroom and jump straight onto a professional national grid within the BRSCC CityCar Cup. Through our collaboration with Nankang Tyres and Paddock Speedshop, we are building an independent team of motivated individuals to represent Birmingham and the West Midlands. What’s on the table? - The Car: A race car provided by championship sponsor Nankang Tyres. - The TV Stage: You will be a focal point of a network television programme produced by Paddock Speedshop, documenting the journey. - The Mentorship: Professional, hands-on guidance from Paddock Speedshop and Student Motorsport. Are you our next Team Member? We need: - Students Aged: 18+ - Location: Based in Birmingham or the West Midlands (able to travel to our Halesowen workshop, B62 0BW). - Education: Ideally, currently studying an Automotive, Motor Vehicle, Motorsport, or Engineering course. - Passion: A genuine, undeniable drive to succeed in your career and an interest in motorsport. The First Step: - You MUST be able to attend our mandatory Selection & Training Day at Castle Combe Circuit on 21st March 2026. This is the world’s only on-track student motor racing series. Don’t wait for your college to sign up, take the lead yourself and join a professional grid.
