A Milestone for Student Motorsport & Industry-Led Education We are incredibly proud to announce that Student Motorsport is featured in the February 2026 edition of Racecar Engineering magazine. The six-page feature, titled "Accelerated Learning," provides a deep dive into how our initiative provides student-based teams with unrivalled, real-world experience in racecar construction, engineering, and team operations. We are especially thrilled to highlight our collaboration with the BRSCC. By embedding the Student Motorsport Competition as a dedicated sub-class within the popular CityCar Cup championship, we provide a unique environment where students learn the technical intricacies of racing alongside essential "soft skills" like time management, communication, and resilience. A word from our Founder and MD, John Paul Latham: "Seeing this vision become a reality is an incredible moment for me personally and for our entire organisation. We created the first-ever on-track motor racing competition specifically for education to bridge the gap between the classroom and the pit lane. While we are only scratching the surface of what this initiative can become, being showcased by RCE, and seeing our tutors and students' hard work in the same Silverstone garages used by F1 teams is a dream come true." Special Thanks: - Andrew Cotton (Editor) & Daniel Lloyd (Deputy Editor) for their incredible support. - Mike Breslin for authoring such a comprehensive and insightful piece. - Bernice Bradley (Boston College Graduate & Head of SM Photography), whose 12 featured images bring the story to life. Find the "Insight" section on pages 46-51!
