Linkedin identified this job as a good match for me which is quite a relief as it is the role I have been doing for the last 5 fantastic years. After 44 years of working for Councils I have decided that later this year I will be retiring. So much to do before I go what with ECF plans being developed for the town centre, we have just been awarded £20m LIPF focused on the incredible businesses we have at Silverstone, the new M&S logistics HQ coming out of the ground, plans for Silverstone F1 need signing off, the new waste contract taking through Cabinet , local plan consultation just finishing, huge master planning exercise for new housing site the list goes on. Really proud of what we have achieved through Local Government Reorganisation, I have fallen in love with this place, with the most incredible people, huge potential and so much more that can be achieved.
