We’re living in a time where five generations are learning side by side, yet many classrooms still look and feel the same. It raises a simple but powerful question: if we teach them… are they really learning? The shift is clear from teacher-centred delivery to student-centred, problem-based learning where real-world challenges become the classroom, and knowledge is built through application, collaboration, and purpose. This reflection was shared during a guest lecture earlier this week by Dr Leila Costelle from CESI, France, highlighting the urgent need to rethink how we design learning in a rapidly changing world.
