Every year-end, a stack of "state of the industry" reports drops - Edelman, Deloitte, McKinsey, Ipsos, LinkedIn, ICCO - each one 40+ pages, each one essential, none of them designed to be read together, let alone acted on. IABC's Professional Development and Content Committee read all seven anyway. Then they distilled them into one document and told communicators exactly what to do with each finding. What they found: trust hardening into insularity (Edelman). The impossible demand to be stable and agile at once - Deloitte calls it "stagility." Permacrisis as the new operating condition, not the exception (Rod Cartwright Consulting). CCOs increasingly choosing "strategic silence" over a statement (Ipsos). Now in its third year, IABC's State of Comms report is the synthesis the industry needed and nobody else built. Skip the seven PDFs. Read this instead. In Strategic: https://lnkd.in/dtGVKdub
