If you’re are the unicorn technical founder who clearly understands the intersection of customer, market, and business need, and you have an abundance of time to experiment freely, you don’t need a product manager. Most teams are not in that position: customer needs, market dynamics, business objectives, and technical realities are all information held by different people. It’s a serious job to pull all of that together, define what gets built, in what order, and why, while realistically managing resources in the face of constant pressure to change direction. A product manager does all of this, often invisibly, while effectively managing up so stakeholders know what to expect and when. https://lnkd.in/ekR3V5hh
