A remarkable milestone worth celebrating 💛. Last week at our Helsinki Head Office, we had the pleasure of recognising something truly extraordinary—100 years of combined dedication at Stora Enso. Huge congratulations to Sirpa Liutu, Business Supervisor, Wood Products North, and Helena Lasanen, Payment & Service Specialist, Wood Purchasing, who have each reached the incredible milestone of 50 years with the company. In a world of constant change, their journeys speak volumes. Five decades of contributing, evolving, and helping shape Stora Enso into what it is today is an achievement that few can imagine—and even fewer accomplish. ”The biggest turning point in my 50-year career came when I was asked to take on a role in the United Kingdom. As a home-loving person, the move felt far outside my comfort zone—but I have never regretted it. In fact, it opened the door to new fantastic career opportunities.” says Sirpa Liutu, Business Supervisor, Wood Products North.   When reflecting on their careers, Sirpa and Helena shared a simple yet powerful insight: there has always been something new to learn.
