A milestone for Stolt Tankers: the first vessel in our eight-ship newbuild series was launched in partnership with NYK Line on June 2 at Nantong Xiangyu Shipyard in China. The 38,000 DWT stainless steel chemical parcel tanker is based on FKAB Marine Design's T72 design, with 30 cargo tank segregations and a wide range of vessel efficiency devices designed to reduced fuel consumption and emissions. The vessel meets IMO Tier III requirements, includes shore power connectivity, and has been prepared for future methanol fuel conversion and UPS battery integration.
