Yesterday our CEO Paul Lupo was proud to stand alongside Health Minister Bridget Archer MP, Deputy Director of Public Health Scott McKeown and Prof Verity Cleland of UTAS to officially launch Tasmania’s 20-Year Preventive Health Strategy. This strategy reflects a critical shift: moving beyond treating illness to actively supporting Tasmanians to live healthier, happier lives. At St Lukes, our vision is to make Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet, and we’ve consistently advocated for greater investment in prevention, because we know it’s the most effective way to tackle the health challenges facing our state. Importantly, this strategy recognises that health and wellbeing extend far beyond hospital care. They are built through connection – to community, to services, and to each other. Delivering real impact will require strong collaboration between government, business, and the community sector. St Lukes is ready to partner with Government and others to help turn this vision into meaningful, measurable outcomes for Tasmanians. If we get this right, we have a powerful opportunity to create a healthier, more equitable future for all. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gDUHRzf3
