Last week, we hosted a Wellbeing Leaders Forum in our Launceston wellness hub, bringing together an inspiring group of organisations and leaders, all committed to strengthening the health and wellbeing of their people and the broader community. The conversation explored the science of staying well through the colder months, and why wellbeing isn’t just a “nice to have” – it’s fundamental to performance, engagement and how people show up every day. We explored how organisations can move beyond good intentions to evidence-based action, with insights grounded in neuroscience and behavioural science thanks to our guest speakers, Dr Rebecca Chabot, PhD, MAICD and Dr Scott Pedersen. Our Head of Corporate Relationships Helen Cowley also shared some of the practical work we’re delivering at St Lukes, including the more than 60 corporate partners who are now actively engaging in our wellbeing portal. A big thank you to our MC Alastair Lynch for expertly guiding the evening. And thank you to the leaders who continue to prioritise wellbeing – not just within workplaces, but as part of our broader vision to make Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet.
