🦷 Friday was World Oral Health Day, and we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone in improving oral health across Tasmania. Almost 200 dentists have joined the St Lukes Dental Network in its first year, giving more Tasmanians access to gap‑free preventative care – from check-ups and X-rays to scale and cleans. With cost‑of‑living pressures impacting health decisions, removing uncertainty around out‑of‑pocket costs is making a real difference. A big thank you to the 195 providers across 42 locations who’ve embraced the initiative – and to dentists like Dr Chris Jacobs from Tamar Dental Lounge, who champion early care and accessible dental health for all ages. This collaboration is a win for patients, practices, and our health system and another step toward making Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet.
