“La Vida Tómbola," a song about Maradona, about life as a lottery, with that famous line branding FIFA the biggest thief of them all. Ladrones. But what happened on the stock exchange this week was no tombola. As I spoke on Tuesday, I was looking at Gordan Kolak — for me, and not only for me, the most impressive manager in Croatia. Yes, it's true. I promised, jokingly, that KONČAR Group would no longer have to bear the burden of trading alone. Two days later: → Končar ~€1.69M and BOSQAR ~€0.67M — the two most traded stocks on the ZSE → BOSQAR in the top 3 by turnover on both days — the only stock alongside Končar → Thursday close: €29.00 (+1.40%) Behind the numbers: 5,453 retail investors and 26 institutions, €150 million — the largest SPO in the history of the Croatian capital market. Manu Chao, life may be a tombola. The capital market is not — except when insider traders descend on it, even bigger "ladrones" than FIFA. But still, at the final whistle, hard work and knowledge win. 4–1. Sinisa Malus https://lnkd.in/eNXWcsWQ #BOSQAR #ZSE #TržišteKapitala #Hrvatska #ManuChao
