Every STIHL product has a story. More importantly, every person who uses one has a story worth telling. The Safari Legends competition brought together STIHL users from across East Africa to showcase how STIHL products support their work, businesses, homes, farms, communities and everyday tasks. Through their entries, participants shared practical applications, personal experiences, and the pride they take in getting the job done well. We are pleased to congratulate our Safari Legends winners, who were officially announced and rewarded by our Managing Director, Mr. Francois Marais, during the STIHL 100 Years Celebration Gala Dinner. Ronald Kettienya – Overall Winner Prize: An all-expense paid STIHL brand immersion trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This experience is designed to give the overall winner a closer connection to the STIHL story, from the brand’s European heritage to the innovation, craftsmanship and quality standards that continue to shape STIHL products used by people around the world. Jonathan Karanja – Second Place Prize: GR 60 Generator Elias Somongi – Third Place Prize: FS 3001 Brushcutter Their entries stood out for their commitment, creativity, engagement, and ability to demonstrate the role STIHL products play in real-world environments. As STIHL marks its centenary year, Safari Legends reflects what has defined the brand for 100 years: supporting people who work with dedication, skill, and purpose. While technologies evolve and industries change, the partnership between STIHL and the people who rely on its products remains at the heart of that legacy. We extend our appreciation to every participant who took part in the competition and shared their journey with us. Your stories continue to demonstrate the impact of quality products in the hands of committed people. #STIHL100Years #SafariLegends #SafariYaSTIHL #BiggestSTIHLFan Francois Marais Pauline Ngigi Lucia Ayanda Eng .Daniel Mandellah George Naivasha Patrick Sabala Elikana .M.
