A large proportion of vegetable harvest in Australia does not make it to the shelves annualy. Not only does this lead to a loss in farmer income, it results in a loss of nutrition that others could be receiving. Raquel Said founded NutriV Pty Ltd with a single mission: to increase vegetable consumption while reducing food waste. By creating a vegetable powder from produce that would have otherwise gone to waste, they save approximately 20 kilograms of vegetables with every kilogram of powder produced, while providing alternative forms of nutrition to their customers.
