Director, American Urological Association Innovation Nexus

Where is Larry Wood, President of Procept Biorobotics?  Procept Biorobotics (Aquablation) has made significant strides in the BPH world. Together with Urology, Aquablation is now the second most common surgical procedure for BPH in the United Staes.  Much of this growth evolved under the amazing supervision of the previous CEO, Reza Zadno, a great leader, visionary and friend. In September 2025, a new CEO and President took over, Larry Wood.  However, many of us question if he really exists since he he has made little to no effort to meet the Urology community. Obviously a number of questions arise. 1)        Hey Larry, have you ever even seen an Aquablation procedure? 2)        Hey Larry, have you taken the time to meet anyone in the urologic community who helped put Aquablation on  the map? 3)        Hey Larry, have you spoken to anyone in Urology about the challenges that remain with your product? Challenges to your entire business platform? And now you want to treat prostate cancer? 4)        Hey Larry, do you know what AUA and SoBPD stand for?  A little hint, American Urological Association and Society of Benign Prostate Disease. 5)        Hey Larry, did you know that the AUA just published their guidelines on BPH and that SoBPD which represents the leaders in the field of BPH  sciences is creating a living BPH guideline? 6)        Hey Larry, you may come from the cardiac and TAVR world, but urologists are a WHOLE different breed.   We are a very innovative group (did you ever hear of the AUA Innovation Nexus) and are very enthusiastic and great partners in new technology. But we react very poorly when folks like you and your company take the Urologic community for granted 7)        Hey Larry, if you really do exist, take some friendly advice: SHOW UP!  WHERE'S LARRY???
