Happy International Women’s Day, I would like to take this moment to celebrate my wife and business partner Marta Smith. I think it’s safe to say, that there are not many more male-dominated industries than technology recruitment, particularly if you go back as far as we do, so to see her smash every obstacle and ceiling put in her path for over a decade has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve learned more from this incredible, focused, resilient, intelligent, funny and warm-hearted lady than any other individual I’ve ever worked with. I now have the privilege of working together full-time as we build up Amery Chase, a business born out of necessity and convenience that turned out to be her best decision to date and has allowed Marta to grow us a small army of tiny humans. Incredible.
