On International Women’s Day, StepStones honours Marian Wright Edelman, the founder of the Children’s Defense Fund and life-long activist who is still fighting for children’s issues to this day at 80 years old. On her passion and longevity, Edelman said in a Washington Post article last year, “I want for other people's children what I want for my own children and for my own grandchildren. So I don't apologize for being passionate. I don't apologize for not going away.” #internationalwomensday
