HMT owned the ‘how much £’ in the Spending Review — we owned the ‘what & how to deliver’ working ‘hand in glove’ with Departments embedding experts insourced from the private sector combined with brilliant civil servants 🔹 World-class talent: the best of the Civil Service talent plus expert practitioners e.g. Keith Burgess, Founder Accenture Europe) challenging management consultants across Government; Rob Wilmot (co-founder, Freeserve) taking on the software sector. We had the most experienced and best execs on the UK Government team and working for citizens & the taxpayer. The results spoke for themselves — £52billions saved for taxpayers, better citizen services, thriving UK SMEs, contributing to UK growth, innovation, and most importantly, enhanced delivery capability, competence, experience, culture and pride in a High-Performance Great British Civil Service. 🇬🇧.
