AMATERASU RETURNS From my dream of last night... Over the past year I have become increasingly interested in the intersection between mythology, consciousness, symbolism, ecology and future civilization design. Recently I experienced a powerful dream in which Amaterasu, the Japanese Sun Goddess, descended to Earth. As she walked, flowers bloomed. Ancient goddess traditions reawakened. Forgotten civilizations resurfaced. Water systems became interconnected across worlds. Technology and wisdom traditions merged. The result was the concept for AMATERASU RETURNS—a cinematic exploration of mythology as a framework for imagining future civilization.
